So last year I missed @BalkanRuby because apparently the nearest visa appointment is 4 months away.
This year I decided to look for slots in early January. Learned my lesson, right? Wrong. Over 6 months away.
@balticruby turned out to be a lot more accessible – just a week until the nearest appointment.
Which is ironic considering I live on the Balkans, mere 5 hours away from Sofia. Oh well. Next year I guess?

困ったことに気づいてしまった。5月末にRubyConf Austriaがウィーンであって6月中旬にBalticRubyがハンブルクであるので、よっしゃこれは全然ハシゴできるぞと思ったのだけど、ど真ん中の日程で松江Ruby会議がある…そして松江Ruby会議で隠岐の島に行きたい…ウィーンから隠岐への直行便があれば…？

The video for my presentation at Baltic Ruby back in June (on Ruby and Event Sourcing). Code samples lost a bit of formatting, and my voice gets progressively hoarser throughout, but I think I struck a decent balance between ideas and code. Thanks to the @balticruby team!
