Let’s pass my bill to #BanTheScan.
It would ban businesses from using facial recognition or fingerprint scans to identify customers.
If biometric data is collected, businesses must:
✅ clearly notify customers
✅ get written consent
✅ protect the data
✅ make policies public
And it gives people the right to sue if companies violate these rules.
