I don't agree with this take. I mean, casinos are fine & can have their space. But what's missing in web3 gaming is designing game&economy as 1 single structure. If you successfully integrate desirable blockchain transaction within the core loop of a game, then you'll have complete incentive alignment between "pure fun" web2 gamers and web 3 min/maxers. In particular, we're doing this in @PlayCryptalia through our Gamified Staking thesis. In our game, whenever a player basebuilds for game progression, they will be interacting with staking contracts. So, just by playing, everyone will do the same thing: push TVL up. Of course, this is just 1 way in which this can be done, but for sure there can be models designed to fit other game genres. What we need is a certain attitude: Thinking about tokenomics from a game design perspective.
