श्याम वाटिका कॉलोनी के निवासी गोस्वामी जी अपने घर में बिजली की व्यवस्था करने के प्रयास में कल सुबह लगभग 6:30 बजे दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। उन्हें पहले सेक्टर-39 अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां से उनकी गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए सफदरजंग अस्पताल रेफर किया गया। दुखद रूप से दोपहर लगभग 11:30 बजे उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। अभी तक परिजनों को पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव भी प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है।
सबसे बड़ा प्रश्न यह है कि आखिर कब तक लोग अपने घरों को रोशन करने की कोशिश में अपनी जान गंवाते रहेंगे? वर्षों से मूलभूत सुविधा के रूप में बिजली कनेक्शन की मांग कर रहे नागरिकों को आखिर कब न्याय मिलेगा?
एक व्यक्ति अपने परिवार के लिए उजाला लाने निकला था, लेकिन उसकी अपनी जिंदगी का चिराग बुझ गया। यह केवल एक परिवार की त्रासदी नहीं, बल्कि उन सभी गरीब और वंचित लोगों की पीड़ा है जो आज भी मूलभूत सुविधाओं के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।
क्या गरीब की जिंदगी का कोई मूल्य नहीं है? क्या शासन-प्रशासन तब जागेगा जब ऐसी घटनाएं किसी अधिकारी, कर्मचारी या प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति के घर में होंगी?
नोएडा जैसे महानगर में यदि नागरिकों को बिजली जैसी बुनियादी सुविधा के लिए अपनी जान जोखिम में डालनी पड़े, तो यह केवल एक दुर्घटना नहीं कही जा सकती। जिम्मेदारियों से लगातार मुंह मोड़ने वाली व्यवस्था को इस मौत का जवाब देना होगा।
