"கற்றது கைமண் அளவு கல்லாதது உலகளவு," said by the legendary Tamil poet Avvaiyaar who transcends time and captivates hearts across generations. Issac Newton again requoted this in the 17th century as "What we know is a drop; what we don't know is an ocean."
For a larger part of my life, I believed that anything that is not explainable by science is a myth. But as I grew and understood the significance of the above proverb, I realized that science is still scratching the surface of the mystery of this universe.
#Avvaiyaar said this in the 3rd to 5th century, then by Isaac Newton in the 17th century, and we are in the 21st century, and this will be relevant even in the centuries to come.
I am a practicing Hindu, and Hinduism encourages people to seek answers. Belief is more like trusting the phenomenon that there will be an answer to all the mysteries, and till we get the answer, let us keep the trust and faith in our creator.
This realization makes me seek answers where possible and ask questions wherever possible, yet keeps me grounded, not to dismiss anything that we cannot explain yet.
Life is all about finding answers to the mystery of the universe, connecting the dots to solve the puzzle, walking through the maze of life with the hope that I will find my way out, and also keeping the trust that there is a reason why I'm here, doing what I'm doing, gives me the purpose, confidence and trust to keep moving forward."
