Microsoft has released a new build of Windows 11 for Beta Channel insiders (build 22635.4660), adding several features previously exclusive to the version 24H2 builds. This update includes changes like updated context menus with labels for common actions such as cut, copy, paste, rename, share, and delete within File Explorer. Additionally, the Magnifier has received new buttons for resetting zoom levels, offering greater control over zooming in and out of the screen.
This build also addresses several performance issues in File Explorer, contributing to improved reliability and efficiency when navigating through files. Furthermore, the update removes deprecated suggested actions that appear when copying phone numbers or future dates. This is part of Microsoft's ongoing efforts to streamline user experience and enhance functionality within Windows 11.
The new build is available for Insiders who have enabled the toggle for getting the latest updates as they become available in Settings > Windows Update*. You can find more details about this update on the official Windows Blog.
