زرعی فضلے سے سڑکوں تک: بھارت میں بایو بٹومین انقلاب کی شروعات
نئی دہلی: بھارت میں انفراسٹرکچر کے شعبے میں ایک بڑی تبدیلی سامنے آ رہی ہے، جہاں زرعی فضلے کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے سڑکیں بنانے کی نئی ٹیکنالوجی “بایو بٹومین” تیزی سے فروغ پا رہی ہے۔
رپورٹس کے مطابق بایو بٹومین روایتی پیٹرولیم پر مبنی بٹومین کا متبادل ہے، جو فصلوں کے باقیات جیسے دھان کے بھوسے اور دیگر نامیاتی مواد سے تیار کیا جاتا ہے۔ 
ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ ٹیکنالوجی نہ صرف ماحول دوست ہے بلکہ کارکردگی کے لحاظ سے روایتی بٹومین کے برابر یا بعض صورتوں میں بہتر بھی ثابت ہو رہی ہے۔ 
حکام کے مطابق اس اقدام سے سڑکوں کی تعمیر میں لاگت کم ہوگی، کاربن اخراج میں کمی آئے گی اور ملک کی درآمدی تیل پر انحصار بھی گھٹے گا۔ 
مزید برآں، زرعی فضلے کے استعمال سے کھیتوں میں جلانے (stubble burning) کے مسئلے کو کم کرنے میں بھی مدد مل سکتی ہے، جو شمالی بھارت میں فضائی آلودگی کی ایک بڑی وجہ ہے۔ 
بھارت اس ٹیکنالوجی کو تجارتی سطح پر اپنانے والا دنیا کا پہلا ملک بن چکا ہے، اور اسے “ویسٹ ٹو ویلتھ” ماڈل کی ایک اہم مثال قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔ 
حکام کے مطابق بایو بٹومین کے محدود استعمال سے ہی سالانہ ہزاروں کروڑ روپے کی بچت ممکن ہے، جبکہ اس سے دیہی معیشت کو بھی فروغ ملے گا کیونکہ کسانوں کو اپنے زرعی فضلے کی فروخت سے اضافی آمدنی حاصل ہوگی۔ 
تجزیہ کاروں کے مطابق بایو بٹومین نہ صرف بھارت کے انفراسٹرکچر سیکٹر میں ایک انقلابی قدم ہے بلکہ یہ پائیدار ترقی، توانائی خود کفالت اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کی جانب ایک اہم پیش رفت بھی ہے۔
