Its actually a really interesting topic Trees often fuck up roads and sidewalks because of their roots This bioengine alternative would please civil engineers as well as help the environment by cleaning up the air It's a widespread applicable solution, i still prefer trees tho

Makes sense... considering it's a Japanese company and the series is named Biohazard there. Although BioEngine would have sounded SO much cooler

Dr. Sharief Taraman, associate professor at #UCIMedSchool, introduced his patient to UCI’s BioEngine, a senior capstone project in which biomedical engineering students work with physicians and industry to design, test and build innovations in healthcare. See what they did!
UCI biomedical engineering students invent brace for boy and take it to market! The Move-D brace can help reduce tremors in people with Parkinson's disease, tremors and ataxic cerebral palsy. 👍🤘More on how students helped Dylan: tinyurl.com/ucimove-d

Oh yes!! @nilsmechtel got the challenge to explain and try the #BioEngine very successfully! We made computer scientists annotate data and still all alive! It's so cool to share these workshops with @AI4LifeTeam members, no matter the distance🤩
#I2K2024 attendees, decision time again: 1⃣ Introduction to AI4Life and BioImage Model Zoo by @ilastik_team 2⃣AI4Life: Empowering BioImaging through the BioEngine by @nilsmechtel @gomez_mariscal Bonus challenge: spot the giraffe! 🦒 Hint: we came prepared… with T-SHIRTS! 👕

Last week, #teambioengine had the opportunity to participate in the Dean's Alumni Gathering! It was a quite an event, where we showcased some of our groundbreaking innovations, including our electronic glove and electronic sock. The technology behind these cool gadgets are fueled by flexible electronics from our DTU - Technical University of Denmark spinout Cybosense. The attendees were amazed by the interactive demonstrations and the potential these technologies hold for the future. A huge thank you to the Dean and everyone for inviting us to this wonderful gathering. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from Team Bioengine and friends! #AlumniGathering #Innovation #TeamBioengine #ElectronicGlove #Esock #FutureTech

Japan has introduced the world’s first biomethane engine, signaling a significant shift from traditional and electric vehicles. Developed by Toyota, Suzuki, and Nissan, this bioengine uses biomethane derived from agricultural waste, positioning it as a cleaner alternative. The biomethane-fueled engines, like Suzuki’s WagonR, promise performance comparable to gasoline cars but with significantly lower emissions. With plans to launch the first biomethane-powered cars by 2026, Japan aims to lead in sustainable fuel technology, challenging the dominance of EVs and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
