Cato just published a study showing that 63% of the people being rounded up by ICE, as of this summer, are don't have felony records, and 93% don't have violent felony records. So whoever we're rounding up, we're not rounding up the hardened criminals. "And so the question is, what is the point of this? What is the point of doing warrantless searches on citizens? That's number one. "And if you look at the logistics of rounding up and sending 30 million people home, it's not going to happen. And that was one of the reasons we said we were going to focus on closing the borders and then rounding up the hardened criminals and sending them back. That's not what's happening. That is not what's happening. "If you look at what's happening, what's happening is I think we are in danger of setting terrible precedents that make it easy to round up, do warrantless searches on citizens, and round up innocent people and basically detain them in complete violation of due process. So if you look at how these techniques are and can be used on on citizens, this is not okay, what is happening."
