There are lots of projects on this table that you can’t just help but wonder how everything went wrong
One of them is
@GoBlockProtocol
– They were once one of the biggest gaming projects, with NFTs trading at 2ETH (for high multiplier dices) from a free mint
– Ran a massive socialFi campaign, onboarding even web2 people (and not just gamers)
– Onboarded many gamers to different games through the Blockgames app
But somehow, everything went wrong
– NFTs trading at atl and no longer useful
–
$BLOCK got delisted from many cex and is now worth almost nothing
– Transitioned from gaming (Blockgames) to BlockProtocol to AI agents (Albatross) then to a creator platform (
@bamdotfun)
Makes me wonder what really went wrong (apart from the community sentiments and TGE) and if there was a way to actually get things right
Sometimes I look at some projects and wonder what went wrong
The likes of @OverworldPlay
Did it fail because along the line, they found out delivering what they promised was not as easy as they thought?
Or they never planned to deliver anything and it was all just a rug with good marketing from the start?
Or they still think they need more time to deliver?
What went wrong with these projects a whole lot of us believed in?
And what made the new shiny ones think they can do something other projects with more exposure, more funding and more experience failed to do?
WHAT WENT WRONG❓
