Last year the tone about non-domiciled and dangerous drivers was so different. You’d get called racist for addressing the topic and certain powers that be didn’t want to touch it. This year that tone has changed. Now everyone from the trades to 60 Minutes is fine with the topic. I don’t think it is suddenly because they changed stances. What I do think happened is sponsors, some of which are large autonomous companies and their stakeholders, realized that dangerous driving headlines are marketing points towards autonomous trucks And like clockwork, right after some big mainstream coverage on dangerous trucking, Aurora and BotAuto are hitting the press hard
