CANSPAM is an opt-out law, not an opt-in. As long as you follow the guidelines (have unsubscribe options, no misleading headers, valid postal address) you can absolutely blast hundreds of thousands of cold emails.

Do you know what CANSPAM is or the TCPA? Do you know the approx fines for violating these laws and what lawsuits typically settle for these days? Might be a good question to ask Claude 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah GPT told me it wouldn’t help me build an email sequencing system because it was from my Gmail account and didn’t have some obscure thing from the CANSPAM law or something. That’s not for you to decide big brother, I’m capable of making calculated risks. Aka freedom.

Congress needs to apply CANSPAM laws to all forms of communication. I can't get rid of text spammers. If I reply "Stop" they either don't stop or sell my number. You can't find out exactly who sends spam texts. This needs to be fixed.

Had a long look at myself in the mirror and decided I AM petty enough to mail back voided checks made out to the CANSPAM Act to the junk mail I get.

I hate the government as much as anyone but the Canspam act is some of the best email deliverability advice you can follow. Same for having sales copy reviewed by an attorney like @MikeYoungEsq. His advice will seem like it waters down your copy, but it'll just make your ads/claims more believable.

junk mail should be illegal unless explicitly signed up for, and there should be 'easy unsubscribe' just as CANSPAM requires for e-mail.
