funding is somewhat zero sum (between UC/CSU/CCCs, then between the different UC schools, then within Berkeley colleges/departments) so big funding changes even just on one campus are hard to do when everyone else loses. though clearly there’s lots of demand for more cs degrees

It’s because CCCs biggest user base is like Kids and teens People who’ve never worked on a project before and don’t understand the etiquette/just wanna get the project done as quickly as possible because they convinced the longer it takes the less likely it is to be finished
