Kursrusaren $COMPDM förvärvade nyligen Secureappbox, man ska utvinna kostnadsbesparingar genom synergier. 27,5 mkr var priset man betalade.
Secureappbox bidrar med 15 Mkr i ARR, och under 2023 hade man kostnader på 22 mkr. Låter ju inte riktigt som ett dunderförvärv?

Today #CompDM wrote to MEP @Andreas_Schwab to support his statements in favour of interoperability and defaults requirements in the Digital Markets Act. The Parliament should stand by its position and ensure that instant messaging, social media, auxiliary services are opened up.

The Commission and the Parliament did a good job advancing the Digital Markets Act up to this point. Important interoperability clauses are in the version approved today. I hope they will remain and will be strengthened through the upcoming negotiations. #DMA #CompDM

This is *huge* news - the DMA has passed in the EU Parliament, including the interoperability extension to social media, mandating that the big tech gatekeepers must adopt open standards for interoperability. The world is changing... :D #CompDM

The European Parliament has adopted its position on the Digital Markets Act #DMA with 642 votes for, 8 against, and 46 abstentions.

I hope there is a specific amendment in the #DMA related to #interoperability which could help in adopting #ODF as a standard as a monopolist seems to want to force people to use only their proprietary format on their non #GDPR compliant platforms.
