🧵 East Africa Wellness at #CSPS5 1/ For 2 days, we joined the Civic Space Protection Summit through the Resilience Hub, a safe space where civic actors & HRDs could pause, breathe & recharge. Wellness is also resistance.

A deep dive session into the digital space at the #CSPS5 delved into how to Balance the State’s Regulatory Role and Citizens’ Rights to Hold Duty Bearers to Account. #ProtectCivicSpace

Beyond the insightful sessions and impactful learning, we also had uplifting moments to dance, interact, and connect at #CSPS5 reminding us that civic engagement is not only about dialogue, but also about building community & celebrating together. #ProtectCivicSpace
