Quarkus cache invalidation skips failed methods by design. I turned the edge case into a small pricing-service tutorial with `@CacheResult`, `Uni`, `@CacheInvalidateAll`, and a `CacheManager` escape hatch. buff.ly/31VBDmL #java #quarkus

Really curious to *hear* any feedback on running this model on vLLM: the causal WhisperEncoder is something that stretched the flexibility of the KV CacheManager and AttentionBackend, great design and improvements on both abstractions. Congrats on the launch to @MistralAI team!

mmh ... we just grew up and started naming our animals CacheManager,,,dogs and cats were never the problem 😂😂.. they were there just teach us how to think in objects.
When I learned OOP, every book used Dog, Cat, and Animal classes. I thought: "Classes must model real-world objects." Later, I saw code with classes like: › AuthenticationHandler › DataSerializer › CacheManager Eureka! Classes aren't just mirrors of reality—they're abstractions for organizing logic. Real code rarely deals with Dogs and Cats unless you're building vet clinic software.

last paragraph had me laughing out loud. I think that is the simplest way we can get newbie to have an overview of OOP, without confusing them the more. Imagine explaining the concept for the first time using cacheManager examples etc, i don't think that would be effective.

Think your Spring Boot cache is fine? Think again! Many cache issues in Spring Boot aren’t caused by the cache provider — they stem from misconfigured or inconsistent caching. Sure, @EnableCaching turns caching on, but without a proper CacheManager setup, you might face: Inconsistent cache TTLs one cache expires in 10 minutes, another in 1 hour, without a clear policy. Unbounded cache growth if you don't specify a maximum size, caches can consume excessive memory. 'Cache not found' errors when a cache is referenced in @Cacheable before being defined. The solution? CacheManagerCustomizer. It lets you centralize cache policies — eviction, TTL, max size — in one place, making debugging easier and ensuring consistent caching behavior across your app. Level up your caching game and avoid the headaches before they happen! #java #springboot #javadeveloper #softwareengineer #bestpractices #optimization #caching

The permissionless future is being built one brilliant block at a time—and today, we celebrate a huge one! 💙🥂 Massive shoutout to @cobuildersxyz for crafting a clean, powerful GUI for Stylus CacheManager during the Stylus Sprint on @arbitrum. It’s open source, dev-friendly, and loaded with fire: 🔹 1-click automated bidding 🔹 Slack/Telegram alerts (real-time 👀) 🔹 Slot & bid visualizations 🔹 Seamless UX for high-performance WASM devs This is the kind of contribution that elevates the whole ecosystem. No more painful bidding spreadsheets or slot guesswork — just smooth, scalable Stylus workflows. Congrats team 🫡 And thank you @EntropyAdvisors @arbitrum for fueling this next-gen builder movement. Let’s keep co-building the future where anyone can deploy, scale, and innovate — without friction. Explore the future here: stylus.cobuilders.xyz/cache-… #Stylus #Arbitrum #CacheManager #WASM #StylusSprint #BUIDL
As part of the Stylus Sprint, we built a GUI on top of Arbitrum’s CacheManager to improve the developer experience: - One-click & automated bidding - Real-time alerts via Slack/Telegram - Dashboards with bid slot visualizations - Fully open source Co-building the permissionless future one step at a time 🫡 Thanks @EntropyAdvisors and @arbitrum for the support!

The first Stylus Sprint participant just crossed the finish line. @cobuildersxyz shipped a full GUI for the Stylus Cache Manager. What does that even mean and why does it matter for Arbitrum devs? 👇

3/ Here’s how the Stylus Cache Manager works: Stylus CM sits on top of Arbitrum’s CacheManager contract and allocates high-speed cache slots for Stylus (WASM) contracts. Caching unlocks: 🔹 Faster execution (no cold-starts) 🔹 Lower gas for repeated calls 🔹 Predictable performance for demanding dApps But cache space is limited and competitive. To secure a slot: 1) Place a bid 2) Stay above the minimum (or risk eviction if outbid by 10% ) 3) Keep your bid funded, automation is highly recommended

CachedNetworkImage uses the CacheManager which uses http though - and for dart:io http clients this could be a first step towards a generalized solution: github.com/stelynx/network_i…

Day 54 of #100DaysOfCode Learnt about implementation of cache using redis store. Nestjs provides cachemodule which can be implemented using two methods: CacheInterceptor and CacheManager. Will be implementing CacheManager in the nestjs app from before. #opensource #BUIDLing

2c) Cache your images If your app loads images from Firebase Storage, you can use the CachedNetworkImage package to cache them. Bonus: for more fine-grained control, add a CacheManager and configure the `stalePeriod` property. 👌

Managed to implement most of AppKit Snippet’s Preset system in just a couple of hours this evening. ✅ Mainly thanks to improvements I’ve made to the CacheManager, Preset file system and a new `SNPresetUpdateRegisterable` Protocol for propagating the updates to the views. 💪🏽

Been working on settings presets for Snippet, it’s not quite there but here’s a quick demo of where I’m at so far. It’s at times like these that I’m super glad I abstracted away loading settings from UserDefaults into a custom CacheManager class. Keeps the VCs clean(ish) 😊
