Unfortunately, those who often pay the price of failed immigration policies are actually those who fled to Canada for a better life. They're the victims of violence, extortion, and threats, etc. from coast to coast. Forced to live with the same people they were fleeing from to begin with. Canadians are generous and compassionate, and I'm proud of that, but short-sighted 'feel good' policies often make things worse for EVERYONE.
