$AI Air Liquide lance sa première unité pilote de captage de carbone pour le ciment
Air Liquide a mis en service sa première unité pilote industrielle dédiée au secteur du ciment, basée sur sa technologie Cryocap™ FG. Installée au sein de CaptureLab, la plateforme d’essai de Holcim, elle marque une étape clé pour la décarbonation de cette industrie difficile à électrifier.
D’une capacité de 3 000 Nm³/h, l’unité modulaire prétraite les gaz de fumées en éliminant les impuretés et en pré-concentrant le CO₂, principal défi du secteur où les émissions proviennent surtout de la décomposition du calcaire. Elle s’appuie sur dix ans d’expérience d’Air Liquide et pourra être transférée sur d’autres sites.
