Bethel Card Connections, Part 1
An ex-card reader for ChristAlignment approached me 5 years ago to tell her story. Last week I released the video of her interview, but it’s a very long video, so I’m going to be posting shorter excerpts from her interview.
In this video clip, you’ll see shocking evidence of card readings in churches, including on the campus of Bethel Redding!
I am against all forms of card readings because the Bible forbids divination. Cards are not like the Bible’s casting of lots or the Urim & Thummim which were entirely under God’s control to answer Yes/No questions, and which ceased practicing thousands of years ago.
I’m also against card readings because I was deceived by the cards which I was involved with making and teaching. My old cards, which other people continue to sell without my permission, are a burden which inspire me to warn people daily about new age deception. It’s why I advise people to burn or toss my old cards and books. If my old cards had been self-published like the ChristAlignment cards, I would have immediately pulled them off the market. However, they were licensed by my former US publisher to multiple foreign publishers. Fortunately, many of these 7-year licenses are expiring and are not being renewed. Unfortunately, there are some bootleg printers in China and India, who are illegally printing my old cards and other materials from my former publisher. The bootleggers keep all of the money from sales. Any money received from licenses goes directly to the irs to pay back-taxes owed for 2017 the year I was saved. God saved me at the peak of my new age career, and I had not saved enough money that year for taxes. I’m up-to-date with every other year on taxes.
Anyway, this video means a lot to me precisely because of my background with cards. Every argument that ChristAlignment makes to defend their card-reading practice is similar to the arguments I made before I was saved, as you’ll see in these video clips.
I care deeply about the people of Australia. I spent a lot of time there, unfortunately teaching heretical New Age practices at Australian workshops. The lovely people in Australia can be very trusting and vulnerable. I hate to see them deceived by a so-called Christian ministry that doesn’t use the name of Jesus, but instead leads them on a new age guided visualization meditation to meet “the Spirit of Truth,” because Jenny Hodge thinks she was saved by “an encounter” and thinks that’s how others should he approached instead of with the Gospel which is the power of God unto salvation.
