All I see is Beetlejuice…😆 Obama Presidential Museum requiring photo ID and proof of residency to get in on Tuesdays with free admission. The Obama Presidential Center Museum is set to open in June after 5 years of construction and an all-in cost of $850 million. When it does open, it plans on requiring Illinois residents to show photo ID and proof of residency to get in for free on Tuesdays. The policy has sparked people to ask: If Barack Obama’s own team thinks ID is necessary to hand out free tickets to his museum, why do Democrats keep fighting against ID requirements for voting? According to the Obama Foundation website, the 19.3-acre campus in Jackson Park is open to the public in most outdoor areas (no ticket needed). But the indoor museum is different. It uses timed-entry tickets and charges regular admission.
