During this week’s Civic Learning Week, Division Administrator Tina Wahlert and General Counsel Thomas Mayes welcomed @DavSchools Superintendent Schneckloth, School Board Vice President Kent Paustian, @UENofIowa and more than 60 high school government students from Davenport’s Central, Mid City, North and West high schools, kicking off their exciting visit to the State Capitol. They encouraged students to engage in civic education and discourse to better understand the legislative process of our state and country.
