🚨 Mark Mitchell Must Go 🚨
Thirty-six emails.
That’s how many messages about corruption and misconduct regarding Jevon McSkimming landed in Mark Mitchell’s Ministerial inbox.
Thirty-six.
And he never saw a single one?
Yeah, right.
He says there was a “protocol”...set up by Police Commissioner Andy Coster...that stopped him or his political staff from seeing emails in his own office.
He says he had “no visibility” of them.
But notice...he never said he had no knowledge of them.
There’s a big difference.
We now know Andy Coster personally instructed the Police personnel working inside Mitchell’s office to send anything about Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming straight to Coster’s Chief of Staff.
That happened right under Mark Mitchell’s nose - in his own office.
The fact it happened there shows his sheer incompetence.
He either knew...or chose not to know.
The Police took control of the Minister’s inbox.
That’s not independence...that’s interference. That’s a cover-up.
Now the Minister is working overtime to distance himself from the mess...
but it’s his job to ensure the rot at the top is exposed, not ignored.
Mark Mitchell has dropped the ball.
He’s failed to do the one job every Police Minister must do...hold the top brass to account.
Instead, he’s let the fox guard the henhouse.
This is how corruption festers.
This is how rot spreads through the ranks.
The Minister hides behind “operational independence,” while the Commissioner hides the truth.
Between them...they’ve destroyed the public’s trust in the uniform.
Mark Mitchell must be stood down.
Not next week. Now.
If the Minister can’t oversee the Police,
and the Police can’t be trusted to police themselves,
then it’s time for real accountability...from the top down.
