Ok, need to close this before it gets too heavy, if this helps - we can do another round of questions again later.
Below are the questions that you guys asked. In the earlier survey:
Post-writeup note:
- as I was replying one of the themes popped up for the people joining the affil ranks in terms of network and approach. Look, anything can work - but here Iam mostly focusing on what is the easiest to get into when you are at 0.
- if there are questions, either in comments or DM me, cant promise I will reply to everything but I will try
QQQ Consistency -- building a team aka having overhead while performance varies month to month etc etc etc
You can get VERY far just on your own. Easily $20k per day just by yourself, if you can hit consistent $20k days with 20% margin, that puts you at around $80k per month
If you want to get people earlier - first hire will probably be an editor - pay by vids delivered, tell that you need 4 videos per day and you are paying X for each day of delivery.
With 1 editor you should be getting to $100k at least in profit. That creates a LOT of space for hiring, but hire VERY slowly, you need much less people than you think.
When you will be hiring media buyers, you wll give them % of profit and a small base.
So
1. There is no real overhead, affil can scale and drop very quickly with no other costs than ads.
2. When you start hitting consistent numbers, you can easily hire, but hire slow.
3. Only a few people will have big fixes, everyone should be on a forms of a performance bonus.
Until you hit at least $50k net per month, this should not really concern you. When you will hit it, it will stop being a concern as you will have a very big run rate.
QQQ Favourite verticals and favourite networks or direct advertisers to work with right now?
The exact answer wont help. And that is a fallacy of money twitter etc., if you run the same offer as that money guy on the same network, maybe even with the same ads - you might not see same results.
There is no other way then just to test a bunch of stuff. Product that we run / like to run Digital products, supplements, training programs, leadgen, self-help.
But since you are probably asking cause you need to start:
- pick any offer under $50 CPA, or better under $20 CPA
- go to offervault and find offers with this CPA in the vertical that you like
- join those networks
Solid old-timers are Clickbank, Digistore24, Clickdealer, Maxbounty, Conver2media (in no particular order) - STARTING networks, you will find nearly any product / vertical you can think of in these you wont get screwed as they all been around for ages.
(Oh yeah - GiddyUp for ecom affil)
Offervault -> Low cpa -> join the network -> talk to am -> run the top traffic source for that offer.
QQQ How to connect with good networks when starting out?
Let’s say you dont even know which are those networks:
1. Ask around (tg / tw)
2. Check website of the main conferece for your vertical, go through their exhibitors maps main sponsors -> plenty of new hidden partners to work with
3. A very clear and and concise self-presentation
- be clear about your traffic source, dont pick 5 sources - pck 1 and focus
- clarify your volumes
- clarify what you are looking for
My pitch is smth like “hi, we are a small media buying team, over 5 years on the market, 90% of traffic is from X where we run Xusd per day in adpsned, we are looking for new offers in XCYZ vertical”
Done.
Some better networks will gnore your for a bit, so just keep chasing them or their ceo until someone gets back to you.
I got into every network that we ever pitched.
QQQ Best beginner networks to sign up on as a beginner?
Pick vertical first, then search for the network, not vice-versa.
Heavily depends on the vertical, so first check offervault, otherwise
Solid old-timers are Clickbank, Digistore24, Clickdealer, Maxbounty, Convert2media
QQQ the actual nitty gritty of fb ads, which campaigns to set up for aff/how to scale?
1 CBO -> 1 Adset with bunch of ads, separate by angle
Adset 1 - family hook
Adset 2 - christmas angle etc.
Broad, switch off audience network.
Scaling -> Move winners to new CBO, or just switch the CBO to bidcap and pus the budget. Otherwise good rule is to add 20% budget per day max, but tbh in many cases I moved from $100 testing to $1500 on the same day. Keep looking at the numbers through out the day and see if you are inthe greens.
Done.
Ignore all that - “he is my 28 FB step adstructure” nonsense.
QQQ I want a content shortcut for organic social media posting. Considering AI avatar or swiping other people's content and adding face swap and/or voice swap with WAN and ElevenLab. Is there a recommended way to do this in terms of transformation and which platforms to take from and post to..?
YT Shorts tiktok will be your main sources. Otherwise heavily depends on the offer - LI has professional guys, FB has older guys, TT has younger guys
Make a couple shorts, upload them everywhere and see how it all goes. Chances are that you will be doing TT -> YT shorts.
QQQ best aff networks
Pick vertical first, then search for the network, not vice-versa.
Heavily depends on the vertical, so first check offervault, otherwise
Solid old-timers are Clickbank, Digistore24, Clickdealer, Maxbounty, Convert2media
- these are starting network, when you will start being good at a vertical, you will find niche networks
Q What vertical should someone with 2.5k focus on?
Low CPA, $50 max or $20 to stay safe, so surveys, leadgen (might be harder to crack) digital products, supplements (with low CPA) - to keep it safe
Each testing wave will cost you 2xCPA, you will probably need about 3-5 waves until you find a winner
QQQ What affiliate networks to use, which verticles are recommended
I suppose the first answer covers this
Q Hey there! I was curious to know how much it costs to start being an affiliate, and which networks or people you’d recommend a beginner reach out to and connect with. Thank you!
Networks are covered above, any of these would be good (always depends on affil manager, Clickbank wont really support you, so you will have to fend for yourself there - dont know about Digistore24 lately but the other ones that I listed usually have a dedicated AM) - so that would be a start
Offervault - has plenty of starting offers.
Organic - can be done with 0 investment, but it will some time to see results.
Example - pick a vertical like health or smth, start building audience -> promote the offers to that audience, or move that audience to an email list and convert the audience there.
Paid - self-explanatory. You can start testing lightly at around $1k, but with low CPA offers so you have a good run rate, but it will take around $2.5-5k until you hit a solid earning offer - imo.
Q I have no capital issues (300k liquid) and i can commit 100% into learning affiliate , what way would you go ? Niches/networks/fomats , maybe any course a beginner should take ? I just don’t wanna promotor complete scams or unethical stuff
Give ecom affil a go. Why ecom? With this capital you could actually build a brand, but to get the ropes of everything you could start promoting ecom products -> GiddyUp are great.
Real products, they will also give you brolls and images - plenty to start with.
From there you could stranform into actually doing your own fulfilment.
Supplements - same story, get to testing supplements offers and progress to your own offer after you can convert on affil.
Leadgen - again, start with affil and move to your own offer / quote comparison site.
Paid seems lke the way to go - as for the networks, GiddyUp for ecom, other would depend on the vertical.
Q Not necessarily an "affiliate question" but im currently brokering in the ppcall space and was wondering if you knew where I can find some of the more cracked affiliates haha
Instead of going to networks with less reputable offers, would you recommend finding specific branded offers and doing affiliate for them?
Have a presence on X, start posting same style as billionatee (not 100% same, but the screens, the numbers, etc.)
Linkedin - a must
Join billionatee’s group., they have a tg chat that has plenty of people buying / selling calls
John Casto YT channel - check the PPC guys that he talked to, there are plenty of purely affil - hit them up
PPC/Ringba meetups, instagram yt is full of names of people in ppc - maybe you can broker smth with them
(With really cracked affil it might be a challenge, as they are hard to reach mostly but that should get you started)
QQQ What are best affiliate networks for beginners so that I could learn and practice the basics, the whole workflow from choosing product to promote , creating ads , optimizing etc ? (There is one where I already registered but the products after research are basically scam and I don't want to promote it) What cpa rates would u go for so That I will learn by doing without burning a lot of cash in the learning period ?
Apart from the ones I covered, consider ecom affil with GiddyUp, they have pretty solid AMs, and have plenty of media materials to get you going
Aim for <$50 CPA to keep the budget tight
So talk to them, they will send you a list of their top ecom offers (like 30 of them) pick 1-3, get approved, get materials, and start pushing
Talk to you AM consistently
Repeat the cycle until you will hit profit
Q If I want to start my journey in Affiliate Marketing but in lead gen, what industries would u recommend that are the most beginner friendly ? Also would u learn all advertisign channels like FB/TikTok/YT etc or would you focus on 1 and mastering it ? If one - which ?
- 1 Channel and master it, pick one, and do not move from it until you will make $100k per month net.
Each of those three can go to million in monthly profit, there is no need to move or mix them when you are starting.
All verticals work in leadgen, just one that stands apart in difficulty is Auto Insurance very hard to crack imo (without deepfake ads of trump promising a $500 on fuel subsidy), but who knows maybe you will succeed
QQQ I’m just starting in affiliate marketing and honestly feel overwhelmed. There are so many people on Twitter teaching different things, many just selling courses without real value. Because of that, I keep jumping from one method to another without mastering anything. If you were to give a beginner one clear direction or roadmap to follow — something to actually learn and practice instead of overthinking — what would that be? Maybe one creator, course, or specific skill to start with?
Pick a vertical, pick a network, pick a traffic source and promote.
That is the ONLY way.
A good starting point is GiddyUp, mostly good offers, good support. Talk to them, let the AM tell you what traffic source would they suggest for that particular offer - and start testing.
Dont read anything else, dont watch any YT guide videos, do not talk to any gurus.
By the end of Monday you should
1. have a tracking link for a GiddyUp product
2. Ad acc set up
3. Launch your first 3 ads there
That is it, dont do anything else, do these 3 things.
Btw - sometimes affil managers reply on the weekend, so you can literally run your first ad tonight.
