This is the Aftermath of the
#CodexDEL Hackathon
- Was Underslept by stats but not by energy till the end. Had just 4 hours of sleep.
- The energy of people building together was crazy.
- The hospitality by
@themastersunion was great, kudos to
@prathammittal and his teams in the Gurugram office.
- Was building an ambitious project. It was working, but there were bugs that needed to be solved.
-
@gabrielchua and
@reach_vb were great. Also, the OpenAI India ambassadors.
- They brought some swags. There were also ones that were not given to everyone, like water bottles (man, I wanted it so bad T_T didn't get it). Got a shirt, a pen, and stickers of Codex & OpenAI.
- First Hackathon and the biggest one, the first time Codex Hackathon came to Delhi, and I was in it, which was amazing. They said 600 people applied, and out of that, only 100 people were selected, and I was one of them, Yay!
- Drank Red Bull and Coke No Sugar for the first time. (I don't like Cold Drinks; they electrify my tongue, like literally I feel the current. I don't know why. Earlier, I thought I would never try it, but then I thought, why not taste it, see how it is, and then judge)
- Networked with some people working as Interns and people working as AI engineers, but are on the side, building multiple projects in multiple industries for India. I am happy these people are literally building stuff instead of consuming, and that is what we need, at least in India.
- Also got an internship opportunity. The co-founder and CPTO of a company was asking what people were building, and he was very keen to listen to what I was building because it had never been built before, and he gave his business card and said contact me if you ever need to work in his company; it's a big company, by the way.
- Heard the word "cooked" 10's of times from
@KushalVijay_ hahaha not making fun of you bro. You rock. Much love for making sure everything went great.
- Saw some BTS from creators creating their own Insta Reels. It was fun, by the way, saw a lot of these raw takes from creators whom we were helping when I was running my media agency, Ampedia, where we were providing services to creators and growing their channels.
- It was an amazing day that I will remember.
By the way,
@OpenAI India or
@OpenAIDevs, could you ship some different merch to me? I would be more than happy to use it in public places to market ChatGPT or Codex.
