#100DaysOfCode Days 33-38 Life has been lifing, but I have been working behind the scenes with Git and Github. I have learned the git flow and a few more commands. Also, I have completed lessons 37 - 61 of the FCC Music Player app. Sitting and coding has become habitual and when I don't get an opportunity to sit and code I feel like something is missing. #CodingAfter50 #CodingAfterWork

#100daysofcode Day 32/100 Started the Music Player app with JavaScript. Worked through lessons 1 to 31. This project has me going through emotions. I love that I have been learning about different types of methods like .find(), .add(), and .remove() on classList. [...array] spread operator, map() along with practicing concepts that I have learned in other projects. Seeing the same concepts over and over again is building memory. Alhamdulillah!!!! #CodingAfter50 #CodingAfterWork‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

#100DaysOfCode Day 27/100 Lessons 51 - 63. Worked on understanding the function blocks and how each line of code was/is relevant to the overall project up to my current point. Following logic is a practiced skill. I also learned to write if statements inside a function with a for loop inside of that. The instructions are becoming vague as I get deeper into this project. Here is where I am using my research skills and reading those docs more. Loving this journey. #CodingAfter50 #CodingAfterWork

#100DaysOfCode Day 26/100 Continued today with the Calorie Counter app in the #freecodecamp curriculum. Lessons 36 a 50 were a bit of a challenge for me. These lessons expounded on previous concepts like template literals which I just did yesterday but they were more in-depth and with less guidance. I used more string methods, targeted and created Dom elements to dynamically update the HTML. These projects are getting intense and interesting. 🧐 My brain is hurting a bit more, but I guess that means my mind (understanding) is increasing. Tired now so I’m done for the night. I know at some point I will need a mentor or at least someone to talk through these projects with. #CodingAfter50 #tiredoldperson #CodingAfterWork

#100DaysOfCode Day 24-25/100 Had to take a few days off to onboard for a new position within my present company. Today I worked the first 35 lessons of #freecodecamp Calorie Counting app. I used concepts like template literals, regex, and continued with previous concepts like functions. Tired now…to be continued #CodingAfter50

#100DaysOfCode Day 23 - 24/100 I have finally completed the #freecodecamp Role Playing Game JavaScript lessons. 😰 This was a lot of information to take in. I was able to understand some of it along the way, but there were times that I got lost trying to follow the logic. 🤯🤯 #CodingAfter50 I know it takes practice and I will do that. I included a couple of screenshots of the attack function and easter egg because of the challenge they presented to me. I must say I have never gotten this far with FCC and I am proud of this accomplishment. 🏆🏆🏆

#100DaysOfCode Day 21 - 22/100 Up to #freeCodeCamp lesson 136 of 176 JS Role Playing Game. This section has me going through emotions, questions, and reassurances. Following the logic in JS is not the easiest task for me. JS feels like a jigsaw puzzle without a picture as a guide. I am kind of picking things up along the way with help from Google and remembering concepts from earlier lessons. I have been using vs code as an addendum to FCC. #CodingAfter50 #Learninginpublic
