Wow . That should be telling for every voter in NY. @TishJames doesn’t want to answer for the rampant crime stats. CommStat numbers are ridiculously high. Not sure where @GovKathyHochul is looking but Crime is OUT OF CONTROL IN NY!

Thrilled to be spending most of todays #CommStat meeting on housing in Chittenden County. Until we invest in affordable housing we will continue to see people struggle with substance use, poverty, and criminal behavior. Safe and guaranteed housing is paramount to public safety.

Chittenden has a population ≈ the next three most-populous counties, but has < half the opioid deaths. Nevertheless, one is too many. But “remains high” is a disservice to the life-saving work done by @MiroBTV, @OpioidPolicyBTV, @BrandondelPozo, and many CommSTAT partners.

Jackie Corbally plays a huge role in the work @MiroBTV, @BrandondelPozo, and @OneNorthAvenue have undertaken addressing the opioid epidemic, and the successes #BTV’s CommSTAT has had — saving actual lives — is in no small part the result of her efforts and dedication.
