@acdnet_kenya Many youths with disabilities have the required knowledge and skills to excel in the job market. The main challenge they face when looking for employment is the -attitude- of prospective employers that think they have to overhaul the office to employ them.

As said, the age of the youth varies, more so those with intellectual disabilities. We tend to look at physical disabilities and forget about intellectual & invisible disabilities. Employers should consider various levels of work for the different disabilities. We all matter!

A1. There is so much to be done in terms of employment for youth with disabilities in Kenya. We have very few Organizations employing youth with disabilities, and many youths have resorted to establishing their own enterprises though again bureaucratic measures discourage them
