i was not planning to make this text, but since my exposure in @berachain currently valued only with one single @steadyteddys, i think its the right time. For me, berachain was the first real onchain experience and project that i dived into with all time and money efforts i had by that time, beginning of 2024. Based on the deep research from @doubletop_io and personally @hortikkk (fucking legend) i was pretty convinced that this was literally a GEM. All started in testnet as you know, and testnet opportunities were massive. At first we just vibed in discords of different bera eco projects (@KodiakFi @eatsleepyeet @CubhubX @honeypotfinance @ramen_finance). With CubHub i made my first money on NFTs, then was Ramen and HoneyPot, both brought more conviction to my mind for the chain and eco in general. After a really annoying summer for the whole cryptospace the real mint mania begun on berachain, with @KingdomlyApp fueling this process: You minted YEET NFTs? here you have some WLs for @0xBeraPaw. Minted PawPal? here you have more WLs for @ivx_fi (for both PawPal and Yeet), and so on, WLs over WLs, mints over mints, in other words compounding. It was really the time of massive inefficiency, which most of the people are willing to find in crypto and make their lifechanging money. Free Mint? here you have 0.1 ETH floor. And this is the story for the most of eco collections on Bera. ----------------------------------------------------- Expectations for mainnet were damn high. And this played a crucial role in roundtripping i've faced after. I didnt pay attention at obvious red flags which were popping up here and there, from Q5 bullshit to BOYCO and Devbera leave, rugged tokenomics and Bera token utility, all was there. Yes, bera still is net positive for me in terms of money spent, but im not sure about the time spent, oh boy im not sure. ----------------------------------------------------- In a nut shell berachain is a pure crypto experience, from 0 to hero and then once again to almost zero. Mainnet feels like a speed run of something that should have been a few years trip, but in ended in 3 month. But still, i'm grateful for the people i've met and become friends with (@belikserhii @Vodash_Crypto and many more). Looking Ahead On a more positive note, Cubhub will continue forward with just James and me, as it has from the beginning. We’ve got a lot of exciting things coming, including a pivot into developing a game integrated with POL.

Regarding Umi Labs Umi Labs was started about a year ago while we were waiting for Berachain to launch. In the meantime, we used profits from our agency to help fund Cubhub operations. Initially, the plan was Kaan to be apart of Umi Labs, so we used a few of his personal art pieces in our portfolio. That was a mistake on our part, as we never finalized an agreement with him to be part of the agency. Neither James nor I took the initiative to remove his pieces once it became clear we wouldn’t be working together in that capacity. The portfolio has since been updated and his work removed.
