Cyber Security Training For CISF Personnel at IIT Madras Pravartak An advanced Cyber Security Training Programme has been launched at IIT Madras Pravartak, Chennai, where 35 CISF personnel are undergoing intensive six-week training in Network & Cloud Computing, Digital Forensics, Cyber Threat Identification, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Incident Response and Legal Frameworks. The initiative aligns with the vision of creating 5,000 Cyber Commandos as part of the efforts to strengthen India's cyber security preparedness. Through this programme, CISF personnel are being equipped with advanced technological skills to effectively counter emerging cyber threats and safeguard the Nation's critical infrastructure. With over 1,600 personnel already trained at premier institutions such as NFSU Delhi & Gandhinagar, DIAT Pune and NPA Hyderabad and ongoing efforts towards CERT-In empanelment and ISO/IEC 27001 certification, CISF continues to strengthen its capabilities in cyber security, auditing, compliance and risk management.
