🚴♂️ Pune Grand Tour – 2027 | Season 2 🌍
An internationally recognized cycling race, Pune Grand Tour – 2027 (Season 2), will take place across Pune district from 26th to 31st January 2027. To ensure minimal inconvenience to citizens of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, both the opening and closing stages have been scheduled on holidays.
The prestigious cycling event will commence on 26th January 2027 (Republic Day) and conclude on 31st January 2027. District Collector Jitendra Dudi shared this information during the preliminary planning meeting held at the District Collector’s office, focusing on routes, traffic management, and event planning.
To ensure that citizens’ daily routines remain unaffected and to allow Pune residents to enjoy the event fully, key planning changes have been made. The opening stage has been finalized from International Convention Center, Moshi Pradhikaran to Hinjawadi, offering a unique blend of modern IT hub landscapes and the scenic beauty of Mulshi region.

1️⃣ Moshi to Hinjawadi – 26 January 2027 (Tuesday)
2️⃣ Baramati to Saswad – 27 January 2027 (Wednesday)
3️⃣ Junnar to Rajgurunagar – 28 January 2027 (Thursday)
4️⃣ Alandi to Lonavala/Khandala – 29 January 2027 (Friday)
5️⃣ Lonavala/Khandala to Hinjawadi – 30 January 2027 (Saturday)
6️⃣ PCMC to Balgandharva Rangmandir – 31 January 2027 (Sunday)
This event will showcase Pune district’s rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage. From Sinhagad region, Saswad’s heritage, Junnar–Rajgurunagar’s historic belt, to the scenic ghats of Lonavala–Khandala, the race promises a spectacular global experience.
Comprehensive planning for traffic management, safety, medical facilities, and volunteer coordination has already begun to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption to citizens.
Following the success of this year’s event, which elevated Pune’s global recognition, Pune Grand Tour – 2027 aims to be bigger, better, and more impactful — boosting sports tourism, economic growth, and global visibility for Pune district.
