@pepehodls has over 20 characters in The Dream, but only one of them started everything.
The Cypherpunk Pepe, the anarchist, the one who walked through a phone screen and changed the room.
His first words were not a greeting, they were a manifesto:
"I come from a place where the intangible becomes tangible, where what is imagined can be minted, and what is minted can move value through the world."
That is a precise description of how blockchain works. Value moving across a network, ideas becoming assets and ownership becoming real without anyone in the middle.
Cypherpunk is not an aesthetic. It is a 1990s movement built on one belief that privacy is a right, not a privilege. That belief gave us Bitcoin, wallets, and private keys. The idea that you could own something digitally without a bank holding it for you.
The anarchist part matters, anarchist does not mean chaos rather it means no central authority controlling what belongs to you, your money, your data, your identity and all is yours because the technology makes it impossible for anyone to take it without your permission.
Some NFT projects hand you a jpeg and hope you stick around but
@pepehodls did something different, they opened their story with a cypherpunk anarchist. Not a random token sale, nor a roadmap but a character with a conviction.
That was not an accident, that was everything.
