I'm more concerned whats basic MUM-T is according to you? What are the qualities that makes MUM-T basic or advanced. Is it the Datalink, databus or simply ability to do to task on its own? And how is FCAS supposed to have advanced MUMT while AMCA a basic one.
Will you kindly wake up. New estimates say China already has approximately three hundred (300) J 20 stealth platforms in service. Quite besides stealthy drones. They have at least 2 active 6th gen aircraft in the air. No one said you give up on all existing 4th gen birds. But can you pls stopping missing the tree from the woods? Capability cannot be sacrificed at the altar of dogmatism.

This guy has no idea what the reality is going on in his service organization, warranty or otherwise. Break down the subsystems and each of those disciplines pays a shitload more in other sectors. Connectivity? Databus and networking? Electronics? System Architecture? Lol.

Rutte kent de Long Covid-patiënten persoonlijk. FCC Ticket 8752508: 57 ongeautoriseerde emissies. The integration challenge was brutal Su-30MKI runs a MIL-STD databus but foreign avionics spoke completely different protocols DARE had to write firmware making Russian, French, and Israeli subsystems talk through a single Indian compute layer — then get Russia to certify it With all its redtape wasn't an easy task by any means

New Area 88 OC from @sakura_rose12 : Aaron "Lizard" Tyler Lore: Aaron Tyler was originally an aviator in the United States Marine Corps in the mid-late 1970s, flying the Hawker Siddeley AV-8A Harrier for squadron VMA-231 "Ace of Spades". After being discharged early for medical reasons, he'd find himself missing the thrill of flying fast jets (especially a more dangerous one such as the Harrier), and would sign on as a mercenary fighter pilot for the Royal Air Force of Asran. By 1980, he'd be stationed at airbase Area 88, and would eventually acquire a Harrier of his own. Aaron’s Harrier would first be upgraded to similar standards as the USMC’s AV-8C (aerodynamic improvements, uprated engine, ALR-45F Radar Warning System, AN/ALE-39 Chaff/Flare Dispensers, and general airframe life extension modifications), and later be fully personalized with a Head down Digital Display Indicator (from F-18A), HUD UFPC (from F-18A), MIL-STD-1553 Databus, digital mission computer, new stick grip (from F-18A), and Maverick capability by 1982. In terms of personality, he's pretty relaxed overall, and is considered to have "nerves of steel" (mainly due to his time flying the Harrier). He's very skilled in ground attack, though when it comes to air-to-air, he's also quite decent. He'll sometimes act as "bait" for enemy Anti Government Force aircraft, allowing his wingman to score a kill or two. His two personal weapons are a Conetta Mk II KA-Bar combat knife, and an unchanged AMT Hardballer (longslide)

These are hacked cars which enabled a feature via the CAN databus. Tesla is plugging a security hole, and people who took advantage of it are complaining.

I used to write in a language called Databus on a computer which used paper tape to punch instructions to a Linotype. It would type set lead type to make slugs used to print checks. Good Times

It’s ALIVE!!! 😬😎🤘 Testing the LCDs RA6963 interface using an ATMEGA 328p AVR board. Went with the Intel 8080 parallel interface. Set PORTD as the databus, and PORTB for the control pins. Now that I’ve confirmed its functionality, I want to port this over to my FPGA board.👌

Here's the McDonnell Douglas/Vectron F-4SL Sea Phantom 2000, a heavily upgraded version of the F-4S used by the private military corporation Seawolf Ltd. Upgrades include: expanded ordnance capability, more reliable, efficient, and powerful turbofans (with cartridge start capability) replacing older turbojets, upgraded avionics (upgraded AN/AWG-10D radar/fire control set), updated cockpit (Head-Up Display, Head Down Displays, Data Entry panel, Data Transfer Unit, HOTAS), updated ECM suite (AN/ALR-67 RWR, 4x AN/ALE-39 CMDs), Precision Strike capability, MIL-STD-1553 databus, Litton Laser Ring Gyro INS, digital mission computers, etc. A total of 30 former F-4S Phantom IIs were upgraded under the Sea Phantom 2000 program, starting in 1985. Interestingly, due the systems being made easier to use (along with changes/additions to the front cockpit), the Sea Phantom 2000 can be flown effectively by just the pilot during interception/aerial superiority missions. During air-to-ground or air-to-sea missions, a backseater is preferred for splitting the workload (as well as actually using any sort of targeting pod). The new turbofans, those being Vectron-built F130-V-100As, provide 20,670 pounds of thrust in full afterburner. This gives the Sea Phantom 2000 a combat thrust to weight ratio ~1/1. (I hope y'all like this one! I still have yet to work out the cockpit re-design, but I do have all the resources required. Anyway, I'm sure y'all can guess that this one's based on mixing the F-4S with either the Boeing Enhanced Phantom or IAI Super Phantom. Been wanting to develop a "modernized" F-4S for my Stratos Ultima worldbuilding project for awhile now, seeing as the main corpo I'm working on developing currently [Seawolf LTD] is like a privatized US Navy/Marine Corps, including their use of an Enterprise Class aircraft carrier, possibly a smaller refit Essex Class, and multiple Amphibious Assault Ships. Small but funny story, I had actually asked @heatloss1986 to help me out with technical stuff, including inquiring if a Jet Fuel Starter could be shoved in there somewhere lol. Of course, no dice, so that's why it uses hydrazine cartridges for self-starting.)

this is not what the 1553 databus does or how it works. the presence of 1553 doesnt mean it can link16 lol. the f-20 had 1553 armament databus, same as the A-6 lol... neither aircraft use the link16 network for tactical datalinking in the way you think

Yea, it doesn’t make sense to integrate west munition as easy plug and play without billions of money and RND. just because we use “nato databus” doesn’t means it is equivalent to nato aircraft

This is false. 32 bit or 64 bit refers to the ALU and databus width, not the address bus. If it were the latter then 8 bit processors could only access 256 bytes of memory and a 16 bit processor would only be able to access 64K, neither of which is the case.
