Today, in honor of Women’s History Month, we’re proud to spotlight OCSO Paralegal Sharon Clarke. 💜
Sharon began her career with OCSO in 1998. In her current role in Legal Services, she handles risk protective orders and forfeitures—work that is complex, impactful, and rewarding. ⚖️📄
When asked what strengths women bring to the legal profession, Sharon says “a lot of gumption, along with professional empathy and the ability to thrive in a traditionally male-dominated field. Women are steadily closing that gap.”✨
She believes every profession benefits from a woman’s perspective.
“Women bring a diverse approach to different situations, enhancing the quality of the legal profession as a whole,” she says.
Women’s History Month is especially meaningful to Sharon.
“It’s a salute to the women who paved the way so that I can be here today. We’re still striving to make waves, not just in our professions, but as women thriving in a male-dominated world.”
Throughout her career at OCSO, Sharon has served in several units, including Arrest Paperwork, Validations, Child Abuse/Missing Persons/Sex Crimes, Crime Analysis, and now Legal Services.
She always knew she wanted to be a paralegal and pursued her degree to achieve that goal here at OCSO.
We thank Sharon for her dedication, professionalism, and the perspective she brings to OCSO every day. 👏
