Trauma Informed Care is not “Tell me all about your trauma” or “what happened to you?”
Trauma Informed Care is assuming that everyone carries trauma and being sensitive to how that may affect them.
You don’t need to know what the trauma is to be trauma informed.

Controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship is a crime. It is a purposeful pattern of behaviour which takes place over time in order for one individual to exert power, control or coercion over another.
