If my speaking page (fred.dev/speaking/) is right, next week, while at the DevDays Europe Conference, I will be giving my two hundredths talk (200!) at conferences and meetups in the tech industry 🤯 I wanted to write a blog article about that, but since I won't have time before I hit this milestone, I decided to do a mini-celebration here 😅 It's about 1.06 (if maths are mathing) talk per month since the first one in August 2010! Knowing that summers & holidays seasons are usually dead, there are times I decided not to work in the last 15 years, that some companies didn't focus on public speaking which is one of my strengths to help the business thrive, that some startups I worked for had very little budget for events... it's a much higher rate than that. Looking forward to more stage presence to share, inspire, educate and help developers be successful 🎉
