0743 update
Cajon Road northbound and southbound between Devore Road and Cleghorn remains closed while approximately 100 firefighters continue mop-up operations on the two vegetation fires from yesterday afternoon.
The safety of fire personnel remains a top priority. Heavy equipment and firefighters are actively working along the roadway, and we ask the public to respect all road closures and barriers until it is safe to reopen the area.

We’re onscene the #DevoreFire at the 215/15 interchange. Fire crews are making good progress. KimbarkES is remaining indoors to avoid any smoke, although there’s little impact now and it’s lessening. School and dismissal remain normal and ok!

There were 21 documented reports of drone incursions last year in the US during wildfires. One of them was here on the #AppleFire. Another happened just a couple months ago on the #DevoreFire.
