Misinformation is being spread on social media about Tatkal Ticket Booking.
It is to highlight that passengers are now grossly benefitted with the gradual and phase wise introduction of Aadhar based OTP system to help and assist ticket booking during Tatkal timings and tickets now are available for longer duration.
Due to the strengthing of the booking system now approximately 3.03 crore user ID have been deactivated and 2.70 Crore user ID have been temporarily suspended.
The users are therefore requested to remain cautious of any misinformation in this respect.
Indian Railways is committed to bring best of services to the passengers.
