Yesterday's #DisruptionSWR was "broken down train stuck at Clapham Junction for 90 minutes". Another skinflint behaviour from SWR -- no longer keeping a "Thunderbird" Class 73 in Clapham Yard (which could have dragged offending EMU out of the way) -- impacting paying passengers!

After an awful journey this morning, @SW_Help train home from work at PTC to ESL delayed so missed train to CFR then next one cancelled so a nice two hour delay to getting home #disruptionswr

Great to work late only to find @SW_Help have cancelled what is effectively the last train home from PTC to CFR. There was me thinking it was not so bad a week compared to usual #disruptionswr

Good to hear @SW_Help station staff at ESL loudly gossiping blaming @networkrail for the disruption this morning. Apparently they didn't secure the third rail properly during yesterday's engineering works hence this morning's misery. #disruptionswr

After yesterdays unusual "Tree hit signal box", today's inventive #DisruptionSWR Excuse is ... "Sheep on the railway" !
⚠️ 19/01 **NEW** Due to sheep on the railway between Effingham Junction and Guildford trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines, causing delays by up to 15 minutes. Disruption is expected until 14:00 bit.ly/2gpIRyf

Exactly. Communication is the basis of crisis management. Simple things like getting rid of the #DisruptionSWR tag have made it much harder for pax to get info, when in addition we are flat out ignored or told incorrect, unreliable info... Of course people get mad.
