Attention Friends, Simulation Participants:
Please help me conduct my scholarly research project on healthcare simulation. This study aims to identify factors contributing to risk perceptions in distance simulation debriefing and compare perceived risks to face-to-face (in-person) sessions.
If you know anyone who can help and might be interested, please tag them here or repost on your page.
Please participate if you have ever experienced distance debriefing as a learner (any debriefing conducted online or at a distance). To participate, please respond to all of the questions below in the comments section:
1. Your profession/discipline
2. Please describe any risks* you may have experienced. (*we define risk as any threat you perceive during a debriefing that might harm your reputation, role, image, or identity and allow you to behave differently for those reasons.)
3. Please explain why you feel these are risks.
4. Are these risks different from what you experienced in face-to-face debriefings?
Select: Yes; No; I have never experienced a face-to-face (in-person) debriefing.
5. If you answered yes to the previous question, how are these risks in a distance environment different from what you experienced in face-to-face debriefings?
6. Please type any additional thoughts.
Please be aware that by commenting on this post with your response, you are posting public information that the researchers will use in our research study on risk perception in distance debriefing and psychological safety. If you prefer to answer anonymously, please click here
