Today's Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026 Some people watch domains. Jochen Kieler watches what they become. We are delighted to feature Jochen Kieler from Germany 🇩🇪, Co-Founder of Probe.net, as a Featured Attendee at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany. Jochen works in one of the most important and often underestimated parts of the domain name industry: domain name intelligence and online brand protection. At Probe.net, the mission is clear: monitoring domains, protecting brands, and helping brand protection professionals detect registrations that contain, imitate or come dangerously close to their clients’ names. That matters. Because a domain name is often the first visible signal of something bigger: a new brand risk, a phishing attempt, a counterfeit route, a cybersquatting issue, or an early warning sign that someone is preparing to misuse trust. Jochen has been highly active across the international IP, domain and brand protection community, including INTA, ICANN, Domain Pulse, Nordic Domain Days and Domain Summit. Before Probe.net, he was also part of the BrandIT story as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, bringing domain strategy and online brand protection together at a high professional level. An interesting detail: Probe.net has presented its domain name intelligence services at INTA and has spoken publicly about tools such as TRIAGE, built to help protect brands more effectively in a landscape where domain abuse, monitoring and enforcement are becoming increasingly complex. Jochen also understands something very important about this industry: It is not only about software. It is about people. After Domain Summit Europe 2025 in London, Jochen described Domain Summit as a perfect example of why networking matters — because together, people drive the future of the internet. That is exactly the spirit of Kempten. A smaller room. Better conversations. Real trust. And people who understand that domains are not just names, but signals, infrastructure and responsibility. Today's Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026 Some people know domains. Richard Lau knows how to find the people behind them. We are delighted to feature Richard Lau from Canada 🇨🇦 as a Featured Attendee at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany. Richard is one of the truly established names in the domain industry: founder of NamesCon, founder of Resume.com, founder of Logo.com, domain investor, entrepreneur, and one of the people whose work has helped shape how this industry meets, trades, builds and thinks. He was named “Domainer of the Year” in 2004, and since then his career has touched almost every serious part of the domain world: premium domains, developed businesses, conferences, branding, domain owner research, acquisition strategy and domain hijacking recovery. That last part matters. Because Richard does not only understand domains as assets. He understands the human layer behind them: who owns them, how to reach them, how to negotiate, how to keep going when everyone else stops. At Domain Summit Europe 2025 in London, Richard gave a talk titled “Tenaciously Finding Domain Owners.” It was exactly the kind of session only someone with decades of real experience could deliver: practical, calm, specific and quietly powerful. A particularly interesting part of Richard’s current world is Titan Research, where he is involved as a major investor. Titan reflects a very Richard kind of ambition: not simply buying domains one by one, but building the intelligence layer behind serious portfolio work. The original plan was bold: programmatically register 1 million domains and develop the in-house domain intelligence tools needed to evaluate, manage and grow that scale of portfolio. Today, Titan Research is focused on domain name intelligence and management, including ownership history, DNS records, sub-domain detection, DNS analysis, DNS fingerprinting, traffic data, malware and phishing detection, and portfolio management automation. In other words: not just domaining. Domain intelligence. Another remarkable detail: Richard has also been involved with WaterSchool, a charity focused on clean water projects in Uganda. That gives his story a rare balance: commercial success, industry leadership and a real habit of giving back. For Domain Summit Europe 2026, Richard brings exactly the kind of presence we want in Kempten: experienced, trusted, generous, deeply domain-native, and still curious enough to keep finding the next person, the next deal and the next opportunity.
