@Azure_Synapse just announced preview for #ApacheSpark v3.0.2. Of course this includes #DotNetForSpark v1.1.1 which supports v3.0 of Apache Spark.

We are excited to announce the release of #DotNetForSpark v1.1.0! Changes include support for #Apache #Spark v3.0.2, #DeltaLake v0.8, #Hyperspace v0.4, NGram, thread safety etc. Going forward, v1.x of #DotNetForSpark will focus on #ApacheSpark v2.4.x and v3.0.x. (1/2)

We are currently working on #DotNetForSpark version 2 which focuses on #Apache #Spark v3.1.x. The reason for that is that #ApacheSpark, for reasons unknown to me, is introducing breaking changes going from minor version 3.0 to 3.1 and we change major versions in this case. (2/2)

#AzureSynapse is now globally in GA! This includes #DotNetForSpark support in Spark Pools and the shared meta data experience of making #Spark tables backed by Parquet directly queryable by #SynapseSQL Serverless (two projects I PMed 🙂).
