🏁 Radio communication in Formula 1: when silence is worse than the wrong answer 🏁 Recent on-track radio exchanges, including those involving Adami and Hamilton in Ferrari, have once again highlighted how critical race engineer–driver communication really is. In that case, communication issues ultimately contributed to a change on the pit wall. Having spent many years on the radio in F1, including with Kimi Räikkönen, I’ve seen plenty of radio exchanges shared on YouTube.
