We’re proud to announce that Dr. Jędrzej Dobrzański is one of two winners of the ECCOMAS PhD Olympiad 2025! 📅 The 15th edition took place 17–19 Sept 2025 in Pescara, Italy, during the ECCOMAS 8th Young Investigators Conference, gathering the top PhD theses from across Europe, nominated by national and regional ECCOMAS societies. Dr. Dobrzański, representing the Polish Society for Computational Mechanics, presented his work: “Finite-Element Modelling of Moving Weak Discontinuities Using Laminated Microstructures” Two outstanding young researchers were selected: 🔹 Dr. Jędrzej Dobrzański – IPPT PAN 🔹 Hugo Verhelst – Netherlands Mechanics Committee 🌟🚀 Congratulations to Dr. Dobrzański!
