I also visited the Electric Motor Vehicle Company (EMVC), where I was received by the Chief Executive Officer, Mustapha Audu. I commend him for his efforts in advancing Nigeria’s electric vehicle industry. The company is contributing to industrial growth, innovation, job creation, and sustainable transportation.
These companies produce EVs in Nigeria: Innoson, BYD, Saglev, Jet Motor, Hybrid Motors, EMVC, NEV Electric, Spiro, and Soueast. Also, not all vehicles in China are EVs, so let’s be accurate.

We have many vehicle manufacturers in Nigeria such as Innoson Vehicles, Nord Motion, Roxettes Motors, EMVC, LSM, Egoras Auto, Jet Motors, Omaa Motors, etc. But Nigerians prefer foreign brands.
Oando’s vision for wind power helps to provide a different option to solving Nigeria’s energy equation.
EMVC’s role is to apply that solution, powering the smart infrastructure and charging ecosystems needed for a modern Nigeria, starting with the Lagos-Calabar corridor.
A future powered by Oando’s wind energy creates the perfect conditions for EMVC and other tech companies especially indigenous Nigerian companies to transform Nigeria into the corridor of progress in Africa

From Ambition to Action: At COP 30, We Take on Africa's Greatest Climate Challenge
The stage is set for a pivotal moment in the fight for our planet. This year, we are incredibly proud to be attending COP 30 in Belém, Brazil – a city at the gateway to the Amazon, the lungs of our world. The symbolism is profound: we are here to protect, to regenerate, and to build.
The data is clear: in Africa, the single highest polluting sector is transportation. This is not just a statistic; it is our continent's greatest opportunity for transformative change. It is the challenge we were born to solve.
At EMVC, we are not daunted by the scale of this mission; we are energized by it. We are proud to take on the greatest challenge of all – to decarbonize African mobility and unlock a future of clean, equitable, and sustainable transportation for all.
The road to a sustainable future runs through our cities, our communities, and our economies. It is a road we are building with electric vehicles, smart infrastructure, and visionary partnerships. We are not just imagining a future with clean air and thriving economies; we are building it, one kilometer at a time.
Join us in Belém and beyond. Let’s collaborate, innovate, and drive the change we need to see.
Let’s decarbonize. Let’s empower. Let’s save our planet for generations to come.

We need to start sponsoring our local manufacturers like Innoson Vehicles, Nord Motion, Roxettes Motors, EMVC, LSM, Egoras Auto, Jet Motors, NEV Electric, etc.
This reminds me of when the government asked the Chinese government to establish electric vehicle assembly plants in Nigeria, they said it as if we don't have vehicle manufacturers like Innoson, Nord, Roxettes Motors, LSM, Jet Motors, NEV Electric, EMVC, etc.
Empowering the next generation of innovators!
At EMVC, we're proud to offer daily training sessions for students in Electric Vehicle (EV) and battery assembly. This pioneering initiative is a first of its kind, equipping young minds with the skills to shape Africa's sustainable transportation future.
The future of Africa is indeed bright... and it's electric!
