🇮🇷|Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, affirmed that Iran’s victory in the recent war was the result of the wise, precise, and prudent leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, as well as the steadfastness of the Iranian people across arenas of confrontation, public service, civil life, and diplomacy.
Speaking at a meeting of the Reconstruction Headquarters—and congratulating the Leader of the Revolution on his "intelligent and precise" leadership during the "Ramadan War" and the victory achieved over the enemy—Aref stated that this leadership was a continuation of the path taken by the martyred Imam of the Revolution.
The First Vice President added that His Eminence managed the country with high competence and guided it wisely despite all difficulties and hardships, emphasizing the need to maintain this approach and fulfill the duties incumbent upon officials.
He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Iranian negotiating team, extending special thanks to the team's head, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. He expressed hope that the understandings reached would contribute to lifting the unjust sanctions which constitute a stain on the West's record and lead to a lasting agreement. He noted the completion of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, scheduled to be signed next Friday.
Aref added that the United States had been at the forefront of imposing these sanctions and committing acts of aggression and crimes, and that certain European nations claiming to defend human rights had followed suit alongside it.
The First Vice President emphasized that Iran is still at the beginning of the journey, noting that the West has frequently demonstrated it can become a tool in the hands of the "corrupt Zionist entity." He stated: "If this entity adheres to its boundaries, the final understanding will be signed; however, the more arduous task lies in reaching a permanent agreement and stable peace objectives intended to be achieved within the next sixty days."
