The exercise demonstrated seamless joint operational capabilities, rapid force deployment and effective air-land integration. Lt Gen VM Bhuvana Krishnan, PVSM, AVSM, YSM General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command visited NCC Directorate NER on 13 June 2026. On arrival, he reviewed the Guard presented by NCC Cadets and was thereafter accorded a splendid Band Display by the NCC cadets. The GOC-in-C also presented Commendation Cards to deserving NCOs in recognition of their dedication, professionalism and exemplary service. During the briefing, ADG NCC NER highlighted the pivotal role of NCC in shaping the youth of the North Eastern Region through character building, leadership development and nation-building activities. The GOC-in-C commended the initiatives undertaken by NCC in promoting national integration, ensuring the holistic development of cadets and extending its outreach to youth in forward and remote areas of the region.
