What are you reading Wednesday? 📚 There is something especially meaningful about getting to celebrate the work of a longtime friend whose mission has always been so deeply rooted in students. Incredibly proud of Adam Phyall III, Ed.D. and the release of his new book, "ACT Now: Empowering Students to Shape Their Future Today". @AskAdam3 has long been a powerful voice in education, and this book reflects what he does so well—bringing together heart, purpose, and practical strategies that help educators create real opportunities for students right now. What stands out in "ACT Now" is its human-centered framework: Access, Connectivity, and Task. Adam reminds us that meaningful innovation is not about chasing the newest tool. It is about making sure students have access to opportunity, connection to people and purpose, and learning experiences that matter enough to inspire them to create, lead, and solve real problems. This book is filled with the kind of wisdom that comes from lived experience, thoughtful leadership, and a true belief in the potential of young people. It is both inspiring and actionable, which is a rare combination If you are an educator, #edleader, or anyone passionate about student-centered learning, I highly recommend adding ACT Now to your reading list. 👇 LINK IN COMMENTS. Congratulations, Adam—I am cheering you on and so excited to see this message reach even more people. 📣 #EdTech #EducationLeadership #StudentAgency #FETC #K12Education #FutureOfLearning #FutureofTeaching @fetc

Watching the @Olympics this week, I’m reminded that the moments that define us rarely come without pressure. In #edleadership, the stakes are high. The scrutiny is real. The margin for error feels small. But I believe this deeply: pressure is a privilege. It means the work matters. It means students and communities are counting on us. It means we’re in positions where our decisions can shape real outcomes. Resharing this reflection for every #edleader carrying weight right now. The arena is demanding and it’s also an extraordinary opportunity to lead.
As we reach the final days of the @Olympics and the world continues to see what it takes to perform under relentless pressure. But pressure isn’t just an #Olympic story. It’s a leadership story. In a prior @Forbes piece, our Dr. @JuliaRafalBaer reflects on a powerful truth: pressure is a privilege. It signals that the stakes matter. That the work matters. That people are counting on you. For #edleaders navigating scrutiny, complexity, and constant change, that mindset can be transformational. forbes.com/councils/forbesbu…

As a principal, some of the most meaningful moments aren’t in big meetings or events — they happen in the quiet hallways. Walking with my students, listening, encouraging, and simply being present reminds me that leadership is about relationships first. #StudentsFirst #EDLeader
