Radboud University’s Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) is offering FOUR fully funded PhD positions on the theme “Empowering the Young” — studying the challenges young people face across society and working to empower them!
📌 What’s the Project Theme About?
From infants to young adults, early-career workers and young parents — “The Young” face complex challenges that demand interdisciplinary, evidence-based solutions. BSI unites fundamental and applied research across psychology, pedagogical sciences, education, and communication science to make a meaningful societal impact.
The four available PhD positions span BSI’s research programmes:

🔵 2️⃣ Experimental Psychopathology and Treatment (EPT)
🔵 3️⃣ Learning, Education, and Development (LED)
🔵 4️⃣ Work, Health and Performance (WHP)

✔️ Starting salary: €3,059/month → €3,881/month (from Year 4)
✔️ 8% holiday allowance 8.3% year-end bonus
✔️ 30 or 41 annual leave days (full-time) — your choice!
✔️ 18-month initial contract → extended to 4 years (1.0 FTE) or 5 years (0.8 FTE) on positive evaluation
