Emphasis was placed on the need for cadres to work efficiently and responsibly in their respective areas. The process of SIR Enumeration Form filling was also explained in detail. It was stressed that creating awareness and taking necessary steps to ensure that no voter loses their voting rights is the responsibility of every worker. “Elections are not merely about casting votes; they are a process to ensure justice, alternatives, and rights for the people. Therefore, every worker must function with discipline, honesty, and commitment,” it was stated. Serious concerns were raised regarding the SIR process, warning that there is a possibility of lakhs of people being excluded from the voter list across the country. Questions were also raised about the intentions behind changes in the criteria for citizenship. The role of AHINDA communities in Karnataka’s development and social justice has been significant. This is a crucial time to ensure their rights, fair representation, and active political participation. It was urged that the Congress party fulfill its pre-election promise of restoring 2B reservation.
