I feel ya. But a move to Electron will have its own problems if your app gets too large, just an FYI. I'd tentatively recommend Avalonia or .NET Maui, but I haven't gone deep into them yet (only some minor Avalonia tinkering and it rendered fast). I've tried porting my own Razor apps into an ElectronNET wrapper, so I'm a little bit familiar. I cannot imaging porting React Native to Electron, though. I would think they'd be compatible? Watcha building?

Another option I looked at was ElectronNet which looks very interesting, but it looks like it's been abandoned a few years ago. Fair enough, but that's one of the issues with this type of 'framework' that you might build ontop of: You don't want to build something and then in 3-4 years find out that it's no longer supported/updated and you're then stuck either trying to fix it yourself or bail and do something else. I'm not a fan of any Microsoft UI stack, but I'm afraid chance of any .NET UI solution going anywhere might need support from Microsoft to succeed. Actually Avalonia seems to have a lot of momentum and if it wasn't for the WebView integration I would jump on that stack without much reservation. Unfortunately the WebView is key for me in several apps I'm considering for this.

Ok, lot of things since last update, main takeaway: -Chat is working! (using OpenAI API atm) -I managed to have a good way to architecture things, I revisited plugins and AIdentity definitions a lot and now it's quite cool. -Docker friendly with instructions -ElectronNet ready

Tried it a while ago as the front-end for ElectronNET-based app. It was slow to load in this setting, so I've chosen Avalonia instead to create a cross-platform desktop app. But maybe the things have improved since then. It is a very valid use case I would say.

Experiementing with new stuff is so much fun!😍 Currently fiddling around with #Blazor, #AntDesign, #Fluxor, #LiteDB and #ElectronNet. Feeling like a mad scientist.

Built my first #Blazor #Electron app with #ElectronNET. Have a very specific use case which this ironic combination (no-JavaScript running on JavaScript) solves perfectly.

I feel like the concept of #blazor hosted on desktop is appealing. If an electron or electron-like wrapper was built around it, it would allow for any platform-specific code. I did a quick POC with ElectronNet and Blazor sever-side and the result was pretty compelling.
